There’s two ways to do it, if crystal is rough I recommend to use wire and if it’s smooth use a bail.

Since I’ve found a few old watches at home, I knew there’s something cool I can make of it. So today I sat down and “constructed” a ring from bracelet of watch. I disconnected part of bracelet needed (size of a ring) and when tightened it with pliers. Some bracelets are different so I think I’ll connect it with jewelry wire. It turned to cool pretty awesome! What you think about this DIY?

You need:
x Pair of big vintage or vintage alike buttons
x Small pliers
x Glue gun
x Pair of earring post studs

So, remove button mesh (I recomend you to use plastic buttons, it will be much easier to remove it, I failed doing it with grass buttons several times).
When glue earring post studs to bottom of the button (oh, tongue twister) and push it right down. I used gule gun but the best way to do that would be super glue or smth like that ‘cose sometimes glue gun fails me.
This is it ! Tuduum Tyssh! Hope you liked it.
*sorry sorry for these horrible nails, I’ve been scratching quite a few buttons with pliers lately Here’s my new pendant filled with bloood. I bought some sweet bottles from Etsy and thought what should I put inside, but then one evening… ta-ta-taa…. I was making bear from wool using felting needle and I sticked needle to my finger (accidently). Blood just rushed all over a place so I decided to use it in my sweet bottle so anytime I’ll feel the lack of blood I can take it. Haha.
